Oh, sigh. I should be doing something Very Important, but I’ve been driven to distraction by Flickr. Specifically, Wee Cute Treasures. Sigh.

Flickr....thy name is temptation....

I just posted this week’s freebie – Be Merry. I’ve been organizing and re-organizing my external hard drives as I load products into our new store. Yikes! I’ve created an awful lot of stuff. Double Yikes! I’m rather terrible at organizing.

My trick to find things I needed or accessed frequently was to put an underscore before the folder name. Then I put two underscores….then three…. Sigh. I abandoned that method of disorganization in favor of a much more complex, and thus irritating, system – The Numeric System of Disorganization.

I began putting a number before the folder name. I thought, “a number gives me ultimate control – the underscores were becoming cumbersome”.

Clearly I’m giving myself credit for some sort of pre-disorganization thought process that never occurred. Because if I had premeditated this mess of files… I shall sigh again. Sigh.

So yesterday, today, last week – I dunno, I’m on Flu Time…it could be Saturday, Tuesday…I dunno.

Point being, before I started writing this blog I was looking for files. Specific files. Silly, silly Tracy. Along the way, however, I was distracted and bumped into Be Merry.

And before the Theraflu hit, I managed to zip it all up, upload it, update the site, and eat a bit of a brownie (because brownies are terribly healing when you have the flu…). Enjoy!

As a few of you may have noticed, the Digital Freebies Boutique closed October 31st for re-structuring.  A few more may have noticed that the Friday Freebies™ have been on hiatus for most of October.

I had hoped to wake up November 1 and simply push The Magic Button (also known as FileZilla) and “Voila!” – everything that needed to be done would AutoMagically be done.

Surely twenty days would have been more than enough time.   All I needed to do was a site re-design, organize challenges and the creative team, make a bunch of freebies, and drive four children back and forth to school.

(This is where I gulp Good Earth Original Iced Tea, wallow in the caffeine and turn up the tunes….I’m loo-loo-losing my edge )

Alas, November 1st I was greeted with a sloth-like server, sick children, a grumpy printer, and eventually a trigger-happy finger that inadvertently overwrote the Digital Freebies home page.  Oops a daisy!

But enough of that!  November will be chock full o’ freebies and at four of them will be on Fridays.  And that stereo I wrote about in April?  The last time I posted?  I just replaced it yesterday.

It’s lovely to be back…
